May Pictures

Finding things to keep entertained:

Nathan was installing a ceiling fan in Deacons room. He left for ONE minute to get a tool and Deacon shimmied up the ladder, found the stud finder, and started using it Ü

Deacon and daddy playing:

His imagination never ceases to amaze me. He found these bungee cords in Carries car and she let him keep them. He happen to also have rubber band bracelets (from Island Grill where Carrie works). It took a minute before we realized that he matched the bracelets to the cords! Red on red, blue on blue, etc. Those bungee cords kept him busy for DAYS as he rigged all sorts of hanging traps with them.

He'd connect them together with the bracelet to make them longer. Then hook random things from my coupon room on them (like the body wash in the picture below).

Love these cheesy smiles and pose

He found my packing tape one day and insisted they were muscles.
He found another user for the bungees a different day. It was a "rescue hero crown" above. He would pretend to be stuck to Addy's high chair (below). Nate is playing along with it and acting surprised Ü. And can I just say this picture shows how much weight Nate has lost in just two months!
Hi-Ho Cherrio!

This one below is funny. The little toy in the entertainment center goes to the jumperoo (to the left in the picture). If you hit a button it will play a little song. Deacon put it up on the entertainment center, hit the button, then ran and jumped on the couch and watched it. As soon as it was done with the song he turned to Nate and said, "that was a pretty good show." Hilarious.

Pulling more weeds with dad...

Hiding in the toy bin never gets old. This time Addy got in on the fun too.
Stuffing himself with cotton candy at Grandpas.

Looking very proud of himself for trapping his sister:

He loves to be put in a pillow case and swung around!

He is so sweet to his little cousin Brooks (but not always to his sister--go figure). He follows her around and is very interested in how she walks (like a toddling 12 month old). It's so cute when he mimics her walking.

He turned his light on one night in his room when he was supposed to be asleep. We found him like this a few hours later.

playing with legos

Deacon was just with me a second ago when I started this post. The first picture must have given him an idea because he is now opening my drawers looking for the plastic cups and bowels to play with again....even though it's been since May that he played with them last!

OH my goodness--he is soooo creative!! You've got a future electrical engineer on your hands!! I laughed at the pack-n-play pics..it seriously looked like Nate was IN it, and I was thinking, wow--I think that would break our pack-n-play--haha. And FYI (debbie downer alert), Jim had a patient that had an eye accident with a bungee chord that snapped...waaan waan waan (that's debbie downer soundtrack for ya)...so just tell D to be careful! Love all his creativity--wow! My FAVORITE was the 'show' on t.v.--too funny!
