Tea Party
Deacon grabbed our empty water pitcher off the table and asks me, "Can I use this for a tea party?" I was curious so I asked him, "What's a tea party?" He laughed at me and said, "You know. It where you set your toys up at the table and pour them tea." Then I *swear* I heard him quoting Toy Story...."Would you like some more tea, Mrs. Nesbitt?"

February 2012
This is so hilarious. We have these foam things that go to a play house (they're the stepping stones to the front door). Deacon lays them out on the ground and then calls me over saying, "Look mom! I am thinking." Then he starts stroking his chin and scratching his head like he has an idea.
Last day of preschool. His teacher ended a few months early. I'm fine having him all to myself for a few more months until kindergarted. Anyway, he likes wearing his shirt backwards now.
Once again, I forget what his invention was in this picture (two golf clubs at his side, a foam paint brush down the front). I'm just lucky if I can grab my camera before he moves on to his next project.
