Bowling

I made some fun toys for Deacon this week. I found the ideas on the Internet. One idea was to fill plastic bottles with water and food coloring and let him use them as bowling pins (make sure they are sealed tight!). He has several different balls that he tries to knock them over with. As we help him set them up, we try to teach him the names of the colors.

He got tired of using them for bowling, but he has been playing with them everyday since and has come up with a lot of new ways to use them. He takes them EvERywHerE! (which is comedic to watch because if he's holding two and tries to pick up a third, he ends up dropping one....and so on, and so on).
Guess we finally have a use for the wine rack!
I also sewed some bean bags from old fabric and cut off the base of a milk carton so he could practice tossing the bean bags into it (no picture though!).

That's such a good idea! I've been trying to think of fun things like that to do with Paige. I'll have to steal this!

Oh, and Jess's shirt just had an advertisement for Flancer's, a restaurant we loved in Gilbert. Nothing too exciting. :)
